College Road Site Visit
Last week, members of our Hastings Office, from the Accounts, Estimating and Design teams, went on a site visit to Tide Construction project, College Road. This is one of the most prestigious projects that Triangle have worked on, once complete it will be the tallest modular building in the world, in excess of 150m tall.

This was part of a new training initiative pilot, for our office based staff, to have the opportunity to visit a site and learn more about our installations.

Warren Root, Commercial Projects Director, lead the session to walk the staff through the commercial, residential sprinkler, wet riser and foam systems, installed to the project. This included engaging in open questions, walk through of sprinkler and wet riser plant room equipment, layouts, British Standards and to discuss the design, installation and procurement process along with the ongoing service and maintenance of this critical life safety equipment.

Feedback

After the visit we received so much positive feedback from the team, including:

‘I was in awe of the undertaking of responsibility that TFS take in installing and maintaining such a huge sprinkler system in a 49 floor building. I am so glad I went’

‘Warren was absolutely fantastic! Kind, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, passionate & prepared would be some words I’d associate with him. I felt the visit happened at the right time for the team and I came away re-motivated’

‘The visit to College Road was useful as I got to learn more about a commercial sprinkler system and wet riser system and how they work compared to a residential system. I can’t wait till my next site visit’

‘Everyone was talking about what they learnt during the journey back and they found the visit very useful. A great day of learning and filling in the gaps in our knowledge’

A huge thanks to Tide Construction for organising the visit.
