Steve Furbey – Procurement Manager

I joined Triangle in June 2025, to work along side Alaina as her Procurement Manager to ensure the company is able to save as much money through dealing with all suppliers. This includes tying down the best discounted rates and service which is as important as price and in turn, building good relationships with our major suppliers to ensure we can achieve the above.

I work closely with our Project Managers in keeping the database up to date on live pricing so they can order materials with minimal problems and/or issues. The role itself is a challenge however, I enjoy a demanding role as every day is interesting!

Prior to joining Triangle, I have worked in the construction industry in sourcing and supplying materials for the hole in the ground to the chimney pot for major developers all across the South East for the past 32 years.

My last 5 years has mainly revolved around specification works for national house builders, dealing with manufacturers and major suppliers before being made redundant.

Before my time in construction I served 13 years in the military, seeing a lot of the world involving some active time. I left the army having achieved the rate of Sergeant! When I am not working, I love to spend time with my family and grandchildren. Getting out and about, attending shows in London, eating out, holidays in the sun and watching Brighton and Hove Albion!
